With the entries for the 2022 Badminton Horse Trials presented by Mars Equestrian opening this week, we are delighted to confirm that the prize fund remains the highest in the sport of eventing at £360,750.00. The winner will take home a First Prize of £100,000, with the remaining prize fund being spread across those that are placed. Event Director Jane Tuckwell commented “We are delighted to be able to maintain the level of prizemoney, which as well as rewarding the winning owner, recognises those owners whose horses finish at least in the top 20.” “It’s so thrilling to have Badminton back in real sight again and greatly appreciated by riders that the organisers have managed to find this high level of prize-money, as befits such a prestigious occasion,” said Olympic gold medallist Laura Collett MBE.
