The revised British Olympic Eventing Team announced earlier this week, now includes Reading-based Daisy Dick (with Spring Along) and Worthing-based Tina Cook (with Miners Frolic).  These two first reserves fill the slots vacated by Zara Phillips last month and today’s withdrawal of Shaabrak by Lucy Wiegersma.  They will join the other team members - William Fox-Pitt, Mary King and Sharon Hunt - who will be at The St. James’s Place Barbury International Horse Trials this weekend  to put the finishing touches on their preparation for The Olympic Games in a month’s time.

The Barbury International has attracted a record level of entries and a truly international field which is set to include numerous “Hong Kong” horses from top eventing nations, making Barbury one of the last opportunities for British spectators to see the world’s best riders on home soil before they go off to The Olympic Games.
