Lucinda Fredericks and Headley Britannia maintained their lead in the dressage despite strong challenges from Belgium's Karin Donckers (2nd) and German dressage specialist Ingrid Klimke (3rd). The Australian selectors controversially chose to run their strongest members first in Lucinda & Clayton but their strength in this phase shone through.
Britain's Mary King, Tina Cooke & Sharon Hunt have boosted the British placings and are currently lying in 4th place. Mary and Call Again Cavalier are best of the Brits and are currently lying in 9th place individually on a score of 38.1.
The horses were transported 20kms down the road after the dressage to the Beas River Cross Country centre for todays second phase. For full results click on the link below:
