Fredericks leads the CIC* in damp Portugal

Description
Australia's Clayton Fredericks has taken an early lead on MR Sydney Rocks in the dressage phase of the CIC* at Barrocca d'alva, Portugal despite atrocious weather conditions.  In a rainsoaked arena, MR Sydney Rocks scored 41.6 ahead of Portugal's Duarte Seabra on two horses  The overnight leader in the CIC** was Britains Sarah Bullimore riding Salerno scoring 44.4 and Clayton on Lignieres 2009 winner Bendigo scored 46.7 at the end of the second days dressage for 2nd place.  A decision as to whether the competition will go ahead tomorrow or be postponed by a day will take place at a riders meeting this evening. portugal_barroca_2010.jpg
