International Season Gets Underway In Portugal

Belgian rider Karin Donckers added another Harley Davidson Motor Bike to her collection after winning the CIC** at Vale Sabroso last weekend.  Karin, who won the event last year on Charizard, beat local rider Portugal's Duarte Seabre on Fernhill Aristotelles into second place with lead of over 7 points.  British riders who have made the long trip for better weather and early runs placed were Lucy Weigersma (Bay Tokay) and Fiona Hobby (Roma ML) in 5th & 6th.  Fiona was only one of two clear showjumping rounds in the tough final phase.  Another Brit Nick Burd, who also winters in Portugal finished a creditable 8th riding Urbain.
