Gem of a win for Tattersall

Britain's Gemma Tattersall won the CIC** in Portugal this weekend on King's Gem after snatching victory from Clayton Fredericks on Bendigo after a faster cross country round.  Dutch rider Tim Lips finished third with Oncarlos.  Clayton also let slip the lead in the CIC* on MR Sydney Rocks to local rider Portugal's Duarte Seabra on Carol Gee's 6yr old Fernhill Pimms, the horse which finished 3rd in last years Burghley Young Event Horse Final.  The competition went ahead after it finally stopped raining...it's hardly been the 'Sunshine Tour!"  CIC* /CIC**
