Four Star American Event rider Boyd Martin, enjoyed some relaxation while on a current pre-christmas horse shopping spree organised by Uptown Eventing in the form of a day’s hunting with The Quorn. “It was fantastic to be jumping real hedges– we don’t have any in Unionville it’s all post and rail” enthused Boyd “I’m going home and I’m planting some hedges!!” he joked. Boyd, recently ranked 9th in the HSBC World Rankings, is currently restocking his Barn following the horrific fire where he lost 6 of his top event horses. Accompanying him on this trip was his owner Katie Walker, organiser and owner of Plantation Fields Horse Trials and Dave Leinhauser a familiar face with the Cheshire Foxhounds in Unionville. Tanya & Mark Kyle supplied them with horses for the meet. |
